R & K Training Academy is to create a State-of-the-art Curriculum for students 18 years of age and older. R&K Training Academy will offer CDL Training for Class A, B, Dump Truck and Refresher students, within an educational institution in Charlotte North Carolina, surrounding area and over time we will be able to take in out of state students. R&K Training Academy has seen a huge need for more truck drivers to help keep the world moving. No matter if the trucks are a Fuel base or Electric a Truck Driver will always be needed. Before being able to operate an 18-wheeler tractor trailer and other heavy-duty pieces of driving equipment, one must be able take a skilled professional training class at an accredited school certified with the FMCSA. With over 23 years of experience and education and strong commitment to positively impact lives, R&K Training Academy is led by Clarissa Rankin and will be providing Training by Diesel Diva led by Shakira Kersey.
Clarissa Rankin is a merry woman of 9 years and mother of two boys. Worldwide famous Social Media Influencer, Motivational Speaker, and more within the Trucking industry. Clarissa Rankin has a B.S. Degree in Criminal Justice. She has over five years of teaching and working in the public school system experience. Over six years of Tractor Trailer CDL Class-A driving locally and Over The Road experience as a Certified Professional Truck Driver. Now Clarissa is a CDL Class A instructor.
Shakira Kersey the founder of Diesel Diva has served over eight years Active in the Army. She is now currently a Military Veteran hard worker in Owner of Dump Trucks multiple trucks. Not only is she a well-known veteran, but she is also a Certified Diesel Mechanic that has over 17 years of experience from Active Military duties and from Over The Road driving as a Certified Professional Truck Driver. Shakira is currently a huge well known Motivational Speaker and the Dump Truck community and Tractor Trailer. She also offers mentorship training courses and makes appearances at many different schools in Charlotte, North Carolina and the surrounding out of state areas to educate students and people about the world of trucking. Collectively, Clarissa and Shakira have over 23 years of experience in the truck industry. R&K Training Academy will envision an opportunity to transform the community and offer equal opportunities for students personal and professional growth in the transportation industry.
